(December 1, 2024) Newly forged Strike Mamba Racing (SMR) is excited to announce that Blake Lothian will be driving full-time in the 2025 ARCA Menards West Series. The 22-year-old from Massachusetts will pilot the #51 Chevrolet SS with electronic publication, The Texas Lawbook, as the primary sponsor.

Lothian brings an impressive list of driving credentials including a late model victory at Hickory Motor Speedway, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, and CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour starts. “I’m very excited for this opportunity to learn and conquer these new racetracks and face this new adventure head-on. I’m grateful to be a part of this new team and see what is possible for the 2025 Season,” said Lothian, who recently showed blistering pace in the South Carolina 250 at Florence Motor Speedway.

The #51 and #72 Strike Mamba Racing cars will be fielded in various ARCA Menards Series events in 2025. Team owner and driver Jonathan Reaume stated, “We’re excited to work with a talented, young, driver like Blake Lothian. The entire Strike Mamba team is fired up, knowing that all our hard work and effort is going towards a full-time program where we can hit the track with speed and build momentum.”

The team may be new but includes the talents of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Crew Chief John Reaume and seasoned NASCAR Canada Crew Chief Al Lebert. Jonathan Reaume will also provide full engineering support through his RBR Engineering Inc.

SMR is looking for additional sponsors to support Lothian in the #51 car as well as drivers and sponsors for the #72 car. Interested individuals can direct enquiries to the SMR Director of Competition via [email protected].

About Blake Lothian

Blake Lothian is a 22-year-old NASCAR race car driver from Massachusetts. He debuted in NASCAR's National Touring Truck Series at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia in 2022. Blake's passion for all things fast started at a much younger age when he first jumped behind the wheel of a race kart at age 5.

At age 10, he joined an indoor karting junior league at F1 Boston where he racked up multiple championships. By 15, he was competing against adults in high performance karting events at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where he ran away with a regional New Hampshire Championship. This victory caught the eye of NASCAR, and at 17 Blake was invited to compete in a national competition for a spot on the prestigious NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development team. After beating out hundreds of applicants, Blake secured a spot on the team in 2019 where he continued sharpening his race skills and won a top 5 championship in Legends racing in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In 2021, at age 19, Blake stepped up to full-size stock car racing, garnering numerous top 5's and podiums along with a coveted victory at the famed Hickory Motor Speedway after only 4 late model race starts. Blake continued to collect trophies in 2022 and 2023. Today Blake continues to race late model stock cars as he prepares for his first ARCA season in 2025 as well as more races in the nationally televised NASCAR Craftsman Truck series.

Blake’s passion extends beyond the driver’s seat, and he works hard to give back to the community, speaking regularly to school children about pursuing their dreams. As part of the changing face of NASCAR, Blake hopes to inspire young children of color who share his passion for racing. His goal is to see these children attain their academic and sports goals. Blake also partners with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their quest to inform and raise funds to fight this terrible disease.
